Volunteer

Volunteering at Earhart is a rewarding opportunity. Please consider assisting as little or as much as you wish.  There are several ways to participate.

1) Attend meetings:

• 1st Tuesday of each month.  check the calendar to confirm the date.

• 6 pm in the Library, and time. 

• CHILD CARE IS FREE. Kids of all ages are allowed to play in the gym or outside during our meeting with a family member/older child of a PTO member watching them.

2) Follow our Group Me (messaging application). Complete the form below and we will add you to the app. 

• Meeting Agenda and Minutes are posted here. 

• Request for help is first posted in GroupMe. 

• Also, some discussions about events and other ways to help our students, staff, and families.

3) Assist in a single event (examples below). Complete the form below so we can contact you with the sign-up form.

• Fall Festival - Request donations and organize /prepare items for the auction and chance to win raffle. Purchase, prepare, and sell food. Decorate the night before and the morning of the event. Plan, set up, and run the spookwalk. Prepare, set up, and run the games. Prepare materials and collect money for the "Chance to Win" raffle. 

• Provide food or help set up meals during conferences (Oct/Feb) and teacher appreciation week (May).   

• Work at the Penguin Patch store in early December during the school day. Students need help shopping, budgeting, and wrapping when making purchases for their friends and family. 

• Produce and distribute the Teacher's Favorite Things documents
